Please try to attend this meeting in person. Since we are all about Innovative Learning, at this meeting we will continue our creative thinking about what the program and conference should look like.
While you will be able to participate online, I hope you will plan to attend in person in Tempe. Please note, that if you are going to participate virtually I strongly suggest that you engage by video rather that just audio so that we can also share our screens with you. |

Conference Update
As you may know, the GAZeL Innovative Learning Collaborative will be partnering with Pima Community College, and other organizations, to present our conference on Disruptive Innovative Learning in 2018. You are invited to join us for our conference planning meeting on October 26, 2:30- 4:30. The meeting will take place in Tempe, location If you can't be there in person audio and video conferencing will also be available.
We had planned to present the conference in September 2017. Due to a number of scheduling and facilities challenges we have postponed the conference until 2018 (date TBD). While we have not had a planning meeting for awhile, we have been busy meeting with organizations, educational institutions, companies and more. Had a great meeting with the new Dean at the UofA College of Education. We have also connected with NAU and additional people at ASU, local schools and nonprofit organizations. Most exciting we have connected with companies such as IBM, Uber, and Intel, looking at incorporating technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, Autonomous Driving Vehicles and lots more into the conference. I have also connected with several people with extensive event planning experience and have some great leads on possible keynotes.
It has always been our intent to make this conference highly interactive. After talking with lots of people, I would like to explore how we make this conference an Immersive Classroom.
Most exciting is that we have decided to host the conference at the Pima Air and Space Museum. It is an awesome space and will enhance our theme of Innovative Learning and Innovative Learning Spaces. Check out pictures of the museum on this Conference Planning web site. I have also planted the seed with Uber to provide an Uber Caravan to transport attendees from Phoenix to the conference in Tucson.

ZOOM Video has provided GAZeL a free account for video and audio conferencing. I thought it might make the meeting more interesting if we did a video conference to enable members to get better acquainted. You can choose to participate by video and/or audio on the web, or only audio by telephone. Here are the instructions.
